Step 1: identify your current mind and physical starting points so I can create a training solution unique to you. 

The first step in the process will allow me to get to know you, and you to know me. We will chat about why you are here, and what you are setting out to achieve. Your initial assessment will last between 45-60 minutes. During this session we will complete your physical assessment and GRIT questionnaire, introduce you to your mobility and warm-up exercises, talk about the UC Warm-up process, and get you familiar with the UC gym layout. This session aims to give you the confidence to walk into the gym and get your first session done. 

 

Step 2: Introduce you to your UC movement curriculum to strengthen your physical capabilities, your knowledge, and your confidence on the gym floor.

The second step in the process will introduce you to the exercises and any necessary information that will allow you to complete your prescribed sessions when training in the gym. Training at Ultimate Conditioning Health and Fitness requires you to learn the landscape in order to navigate it safely and with confidence. This step requires patience and an understanding that I aim to teach you how to do things right from the start. This step will last as long as it needs to in order to ensure we get the right outcome for you. But rest assured you will always get work done.

 

Step 3: Implement strategies that will promote sustained improvements, enhance your confidence to make the right decisions, and expand your physical potential for life.

Achieving what you want to achieve is simple. You need to have a plan. Follow it. And repeat. Although this is simple in theory, many people fall at one of two hurdles: either not having a plan, or non-compliance to a plan. This step aims to minimise the likelihood of you tripping up on the same hurdles that stops others in their tracks. You will walk away from this 60 minute one on one session with focused goals, a plan working towards achieving these goals, and essential KPI’s to keep you accountable to what it is you are setting out to achieve. This step is an optional service offered on top of Ultimate Conditioning Health and Fitness’s Youth Athletic Development Program and Strength and Conditioning Program. Step 4: Consolidate or Reassess and Refocus.

The final step in the process gives you two options:

  1. Consolidate your wins: You are happy with where you are, in which case we simply put the steps in place to maintain and consolidate your success.
  2. Reassess and refocus: Here we would set new goals, or reassess previous goals, to refocus your attention to where it needs to be.
