I have successfully completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science degree with honours at Victoria University. In addition to this, I have completed a Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness and personal training, level 1 and 2 Australian Weightlifting Federation Coaching accreditation, level 1 and 2 Functional Movement Screen accreditation. I also hold up to date level 2 first aid, CPR, and working with children?s checks.
I have over 12 years experience working in the strength and conditioning/ fitness industry. In this time I have worked with elite sporting organisations such as Maribyrnong Sports Academy, Karate Victoria and Australia, Lacrosse Australia, and the Werribee Tigers Football Club (VFL). In addition to this I have worked with many grassroots sporting organisations all over Victoria.
You can expect to get access to high quality coaching, programming, and ongoing education. The sessions have capped numbers, meaning that there will only every be a maximum of 13 people training in the gym at one time. I only use equipment that is functional and carries over to real life human movement. Programs are designed to use exercises that require the use of barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, medicine balls, and bodyweight. In the gym you also have access to high quality Concept 2 bikes, rowers, and ski machines.
